Enquiries in Slack and your email inbox

Handoffs now reach the Slack channel or email inbox your team already uses, and every enquiry still waits in your dashboard until it is marked handled.

From 20 October 2026, Kuuba enquiries can reach your team in Slack and by email. When the assistant passes a visitor's question to your team, the enquiry goes to the Slack channel or email inbox you choose, and it still waits in your Kuuba dashboard until someone marks it handled.

Why this matters

A handoff is only useful if the right person sees it. Small teams already have a place where they keep an eye on the day's work, whether that is a shared inbox or a team channel. Sending enquiries there means nobody has to remember to check another screen.

What an enquiry is

When nothing published covers a visitor's question, or the question is on a topic you leave to your team, Kuuba says so plainly and offers to pass it to your team. If the visitor agrees, it asks for a name and one way to reply, and confirms the question has been sent.

Each enquiry contains:

  • The visitor's question, in their own words.
  • The conversation so far, so nobody asks them to repeat themselves.
  • Their name and the best way to reach them.
  • Their permission to be contacted.

Slack

Choose the Slack channel enquiries should go to, and each new enquiry is posted there. Your team sees the question and the conversation in the place they already talk about the day's work, and can agree who picks it up.

Email

Choose the email inbox enquiries should go to, such as a shared front desk address or a named person's inbox. Each new enquiry arrives there with the same details.

The dashboard keeps the full list

Sending enquiries to Slack or email does not replace the dashboard. Every enquiry still waits in your Kuuba dashboard, open until someone marks it handled. Once it is marked handled, it leaves the open list and the conversation is kept.

That way nothing depends on one inbox or one channel. If a message is missed, the enquiry is still open in the dashboard.

Your team replies, in its own words

After the handoff, the conversation belongs to your team. Kuuba does not reply to the visitor on your behalf once it has passed them to you. Reply by phone, email or however suits the visitor, then mark the enquiry handled.

Other tools

Slack and email sit alongside the other places you can choose to send enquiries: SMS, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Zendesk and Freshdesk. Calendly can help your team book the follow-up call.

Setting it up

The owner chooses where enquiries go, from the dashboard. Once that is set, every new enquiry follows the route you chose, and the open list in your dashboard shows everything still waiting for a reply.

There is no charge per enquiry on any plan.
