Product update
Every reply shows where it came from
Visitors see the published entry behind each reply, so they know it came from your firm. Your team knows exactly which entry to update.

From 10 October 2026, every reply from a Kuuba assistant shows where it came from. Under each reply, visitors see the published entry it was taken from, so they know the answer came from your firm.
Why the source matters
When someone asks a firm a question about fees, appointments or what happens next, they want to know the answer is the firm's own. A reply from a website assistant is only useful if the visitor can trust it, and your team can only stand behind it if they know where it came from.
Kuuba replies only from knowledge your firm has published. Each reply quotes the wording of the entry it uses and names that entry underneath, so the reply is never a made-up answer or a loose summary of something nobody wrote.
What visitors see
A visitor asks a question in the assistant on your website. When a published entry covers it, the reply uses the entry's wording and the entry's title appears below as the source. The source also shows the date the entry last changed, for example "Fee sheet 2026 · Updated 12 Jan", so the visitor can see how current it is.
Visitors do not see percentage scores or technical labels. They see a plain reply and the name of the entry it came from.
What your team sees
Sources help your team as much as your visitors. Because each reply names its entry, your team always knows which entry to update when a reply needs changing.
- Read any conversation in the dashboard and see the entry behind each reply.
- Flag a reply and open the entry it came from straight away.
- Fix the entry, preview the new reply, republish and re-check the original question.
Kuuba also keeps a record of which published version of an entry was used for each reply, so you can look back and see exactly what a visitor was shown.
Only what is published and in date
Only published entries are used in replies. Drafts and approved entries waiting to be published are never shown to visitors. If you set a review date on an entry and that date passes, the entry is held back and questions it would have covered go to your team instead. If two published entries disagree, the question goes to your team rather than to the visitor.
When nothing published covers the question
Some questions are not covered by anything your firm has published, and some are topics you have chosen to leave to your team, such as quotes for someone's own situation or advice about their own case.
In those cases Kuuba says so plainly and offers to pass the question to your team. If the visitor agrees, it asks for a name and one way to reply, and your team receives the question and the conversation so far as an enquiry. The visitor gets a clear next step, and your team gets the full context.
On every plan
Sources are shown on every plan, including Free. They are part of how Kuuba works, not an extra.
