Test and go live

Testing an assistant before it goes live

A test set of twenty to thirty questions, what to score, and when to go live.

Two smiling colleagues working together on a laptop in a café

Before your assistant reaches visitors, ask it the questions your clients really ask. A short, honest test tells you more than any demo.

Build a test set

Collect twenty to thirty real questions from your inbox, phone notes and front desk. Include a few that should go to a person, such as a personal quote.

What to check

  • Did each reply come with a source you are happy with?
  • Did it hand over every question it should have?
  • Would you be comfortable seeing each reply under your firm's name?

When to go live

Fix the entries behind any reply you are not happy with, then ask again. Go live when the replies you see are ones you would give yourself, and keep reading conversations in the first weeks.

Put it into practice

Try your own questions before anything reaches your site.
